I loved it when I think it was Prince Charles who fluffed the landing in the 146 and overshot the runway. Bet it was the same team of travellers that resurfaced that runway.

One of the papers at Church Fenton has a report on that incident.. apparently he voluntarily gave up flying because of that?

I think so, I remember seeing the aircraft on the news. It was a few years ago.

End of the eighties perhaps..I saw it on the news as well grey day came in fast flat and low......and just kept goin'
