Looks a little too short to me,

I'm with AndyG on that - probably not far out, just doesn't look "right".

nice little site there, I was involved in 2 jobs, getting the Sea Harriers ready for Atlantic Conveyor and the GR3 AIM9 mods...then I got posted to Honington!

I spent an afternoon helping recover a GR3 that had bounced off the runway into a catwalk on Hermes, silly sod still had 3 x 1000lbs attached!

Looking better, but IMHO somethings' still not quite right
with the shape/positioning of the canopy/ cockpit area, the whole lot needs to 'sit' a little lower

UKMIL, what you need is a copy of "Harrier" by Francis K Mason - that should help enormously. Unfortunately, I dont have my copy with me so I cant scan any bits of it, but I'll post below everything I do have thats relevant:









First and third are GR.1/GR.1A, second one is a "DB Harrier", distinguished by the 6 blow-in doors rather than eight, and the last one is a GR.3
