Anti-theft!! Thats brilliant!

Wonderful shots there Bro. I grew up "out in the sticks" like that. It's terrific.

I don't think so! I suspect that Rob might be colour blind and the bike shop owner is having a laugh at his expense. Apart from selling him pink pedals he's written orange on his bike when it quite obviously isn't!

Still i suppose its the same in any large urban area now.

Very nice photos Rob, whether the pink pedals are an anti-theft device or not.....You wouldn't get to see me riding with them on....!! :tuttut:

Loving the pedals Rob, and the pics aren't half bad either!

I went for a trek in the peak district a fortnight ago and found a plane crash site there. Turned out to be a Liberator from 1944. Will try and get some piccies.

It was Mill Hill near Kinder reservoir. I have found a website that lists all of them. There is a fair few!

There are a stack of wrecks up there. Sadly due to the elements many are now increasingly difficult to track down.

Great set of pictures Rob, looks like you’ve got and good number of interesting features to see off the beaten track in your area.

I really must dig my bike out of the garden shed and try exploring my local area. Seems a lot more like something fun to do and a lot less like exercise that way. ‘Stealth exercise’ if you will. :-$
