While I understand the sentiment, not sure I totally agree with the comment though. In recent years we have had the likes of Richard Noble and the Thrust SSC team, Burt Rutan in conjunction with so many (Steve Fossett springs to mind) and others who continue to look for frontiers to explore and envelops to prod.
