What a difference a week ( or so ) makes. French President gently mocking our medal performance last week...

This week ? Merde ! Les Rosbifs are so cleverrr, they make the bread square to fit the cheese! Never mind Mr Hollande, at least France can usually rely on winning the silver medal...Agincourt, Crecy, Waterloo, Trafalgar... ;)

I dunno if this makes me a bad person but I nearly became an olympic fan this evening. There I was.. heading up the numbers for Star Trek TMP and I stumbled over womens beech volleyball.. with slo-mo's :-O No idea what the rules of the game are or who was playing who but does that really matter?? :dunno:

scroll down and there is a brief explanation of the rules. However, I doubt you need to know the rules to really enjoy watching the women! :agree:

Oh for goodness sake! :lol: :lol:

The Games are full of the fittest women in the world wearing very little other than a film of sweat. The high definition cameras get in very close and personal and you get slo mo repeats of the best bits. What do you think we're all watching it for? You've only got four days left now!
