I've heard back from Brian and while the two airfiles have a lot of similarities, as his is knocking on 10yrs old, he's not concerned. Works for me

As previously mentioned, a section from the airfile is missing. Brian has offered to dot the i's and cross the t's on the other issues in the airfile too and the offer has been gratefully accepted. A patch will be issued by JF IDC.

Good to hear.

Just about finished the Hawker Siddeley Aviation Dove 6. I thought I might as well apply the paint to the Dove 8 and change the registration - should work OK right? Wrong! The Mk 8 texture mapping for the fuselage and rudder differs in lining up the three fuselage sections from the other MKs! Ho Hum, I like a challenge.

Yes.. a pleasing result for the Dove's FD and satisfying to know that the end result will be CBFS derived Now.. if only the VC looked as good as Sav's original 2d panel. Ah well.. I'll be happy when Brian has worked his magic

BTW.. DG has found a number of discrepancies between model/spec/bumps across the board.. one of which causes the stunningly horrible light rudder (when viewed from the sunny side). I'm not sure if they apply to the release model or only the version he's been trying to modify to get rid of the effect so I'll have to check.

EDIT: It DOES have an effect on the release model but with varying degrees depending on viewing angle. I'm sure he'll add something when he's finished fiddling
