Great paints, as always. There are some unusual operators there and that's going to involve flying in some new regions, which is part of the fun.

Thanks Tony

The 748 is surprising many.

Because it hasn't been a type appearing in lots of large fleets around the globe it's work has largely gone unnoticed.

But it has been there busily going about it's business in small numbers over a long period of time.

In the developing regions and terrain restricted areas it has been a staple from the beginning.

Thats a funky one Garry. Like it very much. It kind of rings out the fact that they were in a hurry to get her paying her way and just painted out a few minor details on the colour scheme so she could start earning a crust for the operator. What circa is that? I assume Dan-Air had finished using it permanently by this time?

I'm not sure if Dan Air had it back as such but it did revert to G-ARMW breifly.

It was registered as VP-LVO 1-11 1985 but I don't have the return date but it's partner that went out at the same time as VP-LVN (G-ARMX) was reposessed by DAN Air for resale in 1990.

I would think this was the same.

I don't know if it kept this livery I could only find one pic.

But it was flying like this in early 1986 for sure.

1990 photo of G-ARMW in Dan Air colours suggests you are correct:
