Can we swap for a bit? I'm getting tired of this endless sunshine. Can't go for a walk without a hat and sunglasses, it's a real pain.

You'll kill me, but I'm already teaching my little daughter to stay in the shade and not get too much sun ;-) It's flipping hot out here in the summer, and while my wife is something akin to an Inca and gets deep brown in 2 hours with no suntun lotion, I on the other hand fear the sun god and cover up! My daughter is blonde and blue-eyed yet must have inherited my wife's tone as she tans really well. Lucky thing.

One thing is for sure, we may fry, but we won't rust!

Only Clint Eastwood, Arnie and some other celebs no doubt! I can barely afford to live on the southern Cali coast. But then the UK is not much cheaper these days so I can't complain really. Well, yes, I suppose I can, it's the English in me ;-)

Did you drop any matches by accident in Monterey Dragon? lol. We were going to take a drive up to San Francisco last week via Santa Barbara and Monterey only both were on fire and the wife does get a tad bit asthmatic so we decided to can it! As for living on the Cali coast...jeeez yea how expensive?! I cycle up the beach to work every day as I work about half a mile south of LAX and some of the houses there are amazing, and have more amazing prices!

If only there was a lot of money in Sim add ons hey? We'd all be living the beach life! Or whatever floats your boat!

Sketchy

Actually Monterrey wasnt too bad because of the on shore flow - but we then drove to Oakland to pick up some
furniture from the the port storage - and then drove back down through the central valley via Fresno and
Visalia to Bakersfield - the smoke was increridble - it didnt really clear until I past Baker inbound to Vegas.
and now its 46c!!!!

Wow, 46c!! I can hardly complain then. Some like it hot...

Anyone have any idea of what kind of a/c they use as firebombers these days? I remember the old Spielberg film 'Always' which had the classic A-26 if I remember correctly. Made me want to be a firebomber pilot after watching it - they had all the good old prop types.

P3s C130s, DC10 and the Tracker with turboprops - saw a P3 working just north of MRY and two C130s and a OV10 parked on the ramp at Visalia
