Yo Mo, not sure what is better - a brilliant performance on the track by Mo Farah in the 5000m or the apoplexy it must be causing in the Daily Mail editorial office.

(Immigrant outruns Customs Officials - believed to be involved in gold heist.)

With the closing ceremony in the books, I expect Gary can start to celebrate the end.

Warning: rant time. Speaking of the closing ceremony, NBC here butchered the thing with their pathetic coverage. They omitted whole acts to sandwich in the incessant commercials and even delayed the ending for an hour while they showed an inane preview of a new show to debut this autumn. After local news, they finally showed The Who ending the ceremony at Midnight here on the East Coast! But the thing that made me really mad was they cut the Kate Bush tribute and The Kinks Ray Davies doing "Waterloo Sunset", one of my favourites and one I consider a pop masterpiece. How do I know that? Fortunatly I have been able to find the version of the opening and closing ceremony and many of the events as broadcast by the BBC (don't ask!). BBC's coverage ran circles around NBC's coverage in every aspect.

Great Britain should be very proud of the 2012 Olympics and contrary to Mitt the Twit's assessment, London was ready!
