All looking very nice Steve, awaiting this beauty with bated breath.
Just one thing, those Sidewinders look a touch on the chunky side.

Consider yourself kicked Tony! ;-)

The Philco Sidewinder 1A is now better known as the AIM-9B. They had been used by the US armed forces since the mid-50s; in fact the K-13 (AA-2 Atoll) was directly based on the Sidewinder - reputedly it was acquired after a AIM-9B, fired by a Taiwanese F-86 Sabre, struck a Chinese MiG-17 without exploding during an air battle on 28 September 1958. The missile remained stuck in the MiG's fuselage and was carried back to its base. This one example provided considerable insight to Soviet engineers in the design of workable IR-guided missiles.
But this is a side issue, as Steve's Seahawk is looking like a real work of art! Any chance of a P1052/P1081 next Steve? ;-)

Hello chaps,
thanks for looking the export models over. Mgr, thank you for the roundel info; I will duly amend. Also, some shots I have show the wing numbers as black, some white - what should they be in your opinion?
Andy, yes, the AIM-9s may be a touch chunky, but I originally had them too small and they looked weedy on there, so upped them a bit. I can slim them a bit though as I was rushing a bit there. The diagram will help, cheers for that.
No immediate plans for the P1052/P1081 but I am toying with the idea of doing a late-version P.1040 as it won't take too much work to make one from the F.1 model. I think the project ends there though as it has gone on long enough as it is!!

Oh my, Steve what can I say...............just bring it on.......I do hope you'll do a folded wing static model, I could have flight decks and flight lines filled
with AI.........nice work indeed.

Seaking, consider it done.
Ben, thanks for the praise, I owe a lot a certain tutorial and the help of Skippy and Paul Foster who gave me some very good advice. It's a nice feeling now the endless modelling is finished. The beta really isn't that far off now, once I get the panel finished, and while the model is out for testing it will allow me to make the P.1040, static wing fold model and any more repaints I want to do.
Now, this is strictly still WIP, but I have the beta/final launch site coming together so, bookmark it for later when everything is ready. Some links don't work, and there are some problems with it in Internet Explorer, but if you use Firefox you'll get the idea.

All for now,

Now both are correct, meaning there are 2 specific paint-schemes:
Early:
Dutch flag on the tail
Small "KON. MARINE" just under the vertical stab
Big black serial and roundel on the aft section
Only roundels on the wings, below and on top (4 in total)
Later:
Black "D" or "V" on the tail
Big black "KON. MARINE" on the aft section with the roundel in front of it
Roundel on left upper and right under the wing
Serial in WHITE on right upper and in BLACK left under the wing
