Well my install downloaded in 20 mins (joys of new 70mb fibre :hide: ) and installed yesterday. Havent installed much into it yet, but it runs on my PC so the 2gb 560ti is Ok for now. I did have my p3d set to 20 fps but set unlimited it happily runs faster than that. Noticed blurries with the F-22 in both limited and unlimited fps, guess this is the 560ti being a bottleneck now as my i7 is running at 4.3 8) . Now for the transfering over from FSX. I did install the S2 Bucc but the weapons wont load so i guess thats the DLL required to be added. Just have to wait for ORBX to be updated to p3d.

Don't forget that if you install stuff using a registry alias (i.e. pointing the entry for FSX to P3D instead) to check the dll.xml after installs and copy any entries over to the P3D one.

I keep forgetting to do that :doh:

How do I delete the shader cache?

I'll have to look up the exact location as I'm not at the PC at the moment.

Also, I found having terrain casting shadows switched on caused blurries, so make sure that's off.
Once again, Dave, thanks for the suggestions. I saw a post here about the shader problem - possibly by you - so I installed the new card first and then P3Dv2 specifically to avoid that possibility. However, I'll try clearing the cache again just in case.

Terrain shadow are off (unchecked) and I tried unchecking all shadows but it had no effect on the blurries.

Onwards and upwards!

A little confused about the Bathymetry thing.

I have not got it selected in the options, as recommended. Yet when I just did a quick check over my P3D scenery config, I find it's set as active:
[Area.124]
Title=Bathymetry
Local=Scenery\Bathymetry
Layer=124
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE
Any ideas about this?

John,

As I understand it bathymetry creates the underwater world in P3D.
