Without sounding Like a SA - We'll gladly take some of that - hasn't rained here since October - Lake Mead is now 100 feet below normal levels

We're seeing plenty of rain here in the Dallas area. Last summer we were in the midst of a painful drought. A local lake (where my drinking water comes from) was 2/3 empty. 2/3!! This year we've gotten more than enough rain to make up for last summer. It's pouring rain as I type this. Wild!

It's still high round here.

I went out for a well deserved blast on the old bike today after a mental week at work. I got to my favourite trail and was met with this:

Very wet.

There weir doesn't exist at the moment.

That railing is around the concrete block i'd usually be stood on. Don't fancy it today.

Having had a SECOND day with some CLOUDS  , I feel I can now contribute more to this thread
Seriously, here is a shot of our nearest 'enbalsa' used for water storage and it is only 25% full. Below that is the Brit owned Suncat (famous for days out sailing, locally), after she was washed ashore following freak high winds last week. At least it is not raining at the moment.
