Re: Alphasim Sea Venom
Agree Hobby
For my part.. there have been a fair number of Alpha models (and others) that I've only bought on the strength of repaints available.. the last one being the F104. Unfortunately, the repaints were for FSX and don't seem to work in FS9 (my fault for presuming) Chin up me hearty ;-)

Sorry to here this Jason
Would you though consider releasing what you have done as a gesture of goodwill to those on here who respect your work and rightly so.
Many of them were looking forward to this.
This is only a request..I will respect you decision.
Thanks.

Now i am in 2 minds, mainly because they are removed me from their forum, thats fine with me from now on. i'll paint payware and freeware models which are 10 fold better than AS crap they sell people.

Yes.. I noticed that. Phil can be very funny at times!
Never mind.. I understand your frustration. Pity those of us who parted with our 'hard earned' won't be reaping the benefits of your work but were I in the same situation.. I'd probably feel the same ;-) Reminds me of a story I heard about a rather obnoxious publican (even moreso than me) who's favourite remark at the end of an evening was 'We've had your money.. now F**k off' Not sure how big his customer base ended up as I know some folk enjoy a bit of abuse

Would still be a shame to waste all that hard work........................ Rise above the rubbish!
Re: Alphasim Sea Venom
I would love your "shielded" repaint there Jason. Please remember that your work is highly respected by many of us, even if those money-making chappies can't respect it, we sure do! ;-) I've always been more inclined to the passionate freeware side of the coin instead of that commercial side of things where men are profit driven. Maybe we should look at the Canberra of Paul Foster and see the possibilities that a freeware model has over a payware one in terms of accuracy for detail instead of accuracy for payment.
