I've uploaded the Derby Aviation Rapide and Marathon, and Don Everall Viking and Rapide, to Classic British ("The Pond") where they are in the quarantine awaiting electronic fumigation. Hopefully the files I uploaded are OK and I've included everything...
Not sure how long it takes for files to pass through the checking stage for upload but hopefully when I'm back from my weekend away they'll be up ready for you to do those much awaited Wolverhamton to Jersey and Derby to Ostend runs you've all been dying to fly. Or not as the case maybe.

Derby Airways G-AMGW, "Millersdale", just uploaded to "The Pond" and awaiting approval.
This is the later livery carried by "Mrs Dale" with the later Derby Airways titles. This was their second livery within a few years and although very similar to the earlier "Derby Aviation" colours it has detail differences. A third, ex RAF machine (G-AMEW) arrived in 1957 but was withdrawn with the other two in 1960.
For those of a certain age, this aircraft once flew Cliff Richard from Derby to Carlisle in 1960, after his car was stolen in Derby. I'm not sure what is the more shocking, that Cliff Richard's car was stolen in Derby, or the fact the ageing crooner is still going despite being old enough to have flown in a Marathon. Actually, knowing Derby, the fact that his car was half-inched isn't that surprising...

Thanks for the prompt service both times.
To finish off the Midlands air tattoo I'll reregister and reletter the eye-wateringly vivid Derby Aviation Rapide to represent the incendiary G-AKME of Wolverhampton Aviation (the Derby Aviation offshoot) which burst into flames whilst refuelling at Lympne in 1950.

Hi Mark,
A quickie if I may. I still have your original Don Everall Viking paint for AKBG and it's texture folder is marked don as is the new one (AMNK). Not a problem as I just renamed the original to dono ;-)
Leif..
I can only find one Marathon paint over at the Pond and I reckon there should be 2 looking at this thread. A senior moment on my part?? EDIT.. Senior moment.. found it

Hi Dave,
I must admit I named the Don Viking (which makes it sound like a Copenhagen Mafia boss...) with the same extension as I thought it would be a replacement for the older version, as the new version has proper alpha layers to give a metallic finish and is more closely matched to the DC3s for consistency, I didn't think that people might want both. However I suppose I ought really to have given it another name. However, if people do want to keep v1 then like you say, it's a simple job to rename and I expect those more likely to want to use the livery will be reasonably cluey about naming conventions and editing of cfg files so probably best left as is rather than reload it with a new name unless others think it's a good idea.
Cheers,
Mark
