Hello, not into Flight Sim but I stumbled across this thread, and as you don't seem to have a definitive answer yet . . .

I flew Glasgow - Broadford - Glasgow on 25/9/81 and 1/10/81, and still have the passenger coupon. The carbon copy writing is barely legible now, but I can tell you the flight numbers were 473 and 474, and I think the times are 10.15 and 11.35, though a 1987 copy of Getting Around the Highlands and Islands gives them as 10.30 and 11.45 (don't think the service survived much past '87). £30 each way in 1981, btw, and M-Tu-Th-F only.

I took a number of photos before and during the return flight, and one of them is at

If they're of any interest, I could put up some more.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Leif.

Right, I've scanned and tidied up another dozen slides, and put them into a separate gallery :-

Hope you find them useful and/or interesting.

My jaw dropped a bit when I found that both the aircraft at Broadford that morning had crashed within a couple of months of each other in 1984. Weird or what?

Duncan

I think the flights stopped when subsidies were no longer paid on them.

Thank you Duncan

A resounding YES to both interesting and helpful
You have answered another question about the radio mast at Broadford and the scenery is spectacular (and surprisingly FS9 captures it very well)

Cheers
