Quite right Trev, although it wan't intentional on my part, the early releases will indeed have a distinctly British flavour (not flavor)!
To answer the question about package sizes, once installed the Vixen will occupy a hefty 546MB but thankfully the installer package brings that down to a 47Mb download. Been actually flying her myself lately seeking out last bugs and omissions and doing sorties from the Ark. Having been RAF myself I couldn't see why the FAA guys were getting so excited about naval aviation but once you tried it (simulated obviously) the penny drops, having a ball - might just keep this all to myself!
Joking joking honest...

Looks to be the final big thing there before the museum closes. Pity I've got to work!

Err no LOL, Brian asked me to do some FPS checks so l picked Heathrow with full scenery and AI settings, bumbled around on the ground a bit and then saw this Airbus taking off, so l gave chase
, followed him south and formed up over the channel at 30K.
Actually l had a job keeping up, I knew these airliners these days were fast ( A320 0.82 Mach ) and the Sea Vixen ( 0.91 Mach ) only just had the edge, incredible to think that tube liners these days are almost as fast as fighters from the 50's !.
Regards
Michael

How true that is Michael
Had a similar scare a few weeks ago. Was fiddling around with AI and thought I'd have a bit of sport with Concorde (I was in the Alpha TSR2). I let him takeoff first and my intention was to follow him for about 30mins to see his routing. THIRTY MINUTES.. err, he'd lost me well before then!
