Thanks for the compliments, gentlemen !
Yes, it takes a while doesn't it,( mind you, i have a Turkey in the oven as well.... :dance: ) but everybody involved in the development wants to try and make this the ultimate F-86 for FS. ( initially release for FS9 only, followed by a native FSX version ) With a couple of nice F-86 models around already it wouldn't be of much use otherwise, wouldn't it.
( btw, on a sidenote, if it wasn't for DG's wonderfull Hunter model it probabely *would* have been a Hunter....

)
Trev, fyi, Rob Young has been involved with the development of the flight dynamics right from the start of our F-86 project. It happend to be the first thing i wanted to try and accomplish before anything else. The flightmodel is THE most important part of a simulated aircraft afterall, isn't it. I am very grateful to Rob for signing up to this freeware project instantly despite his full agenda of developing flightmodels for commercial FS add-on packages, including his own RealAir company. What with all the changes involved in FSX the workload must be tremendous.
Now that we've arrived at final betatesting we also do feel very fortunate with the company of Dudley Henriques, retired display pilot and well known amongst the simming community for his excellent tutorials on flying 'hot props and jets' .
He flew the F-86 as well and says to feel right at home in our virtual Sabre. Just a few sharp edges still to sand here and there.
Afraid no ETA yet but there's deffinately a light at the end of the tunnel. :flying:
Cheers,
Jan
