It's weird the way not all of us are experiencing this. I didn't have the time to figure out what caused it, but it sounds like you are spot on=, Nige, I thought it was occuring around 200ft up but it is probably the speed, as it kicked in later on my first flight, a much gentler one which took me longer to build up speed. With force feedback on my joystick it's making it damn near impossible to fly and sends it bouncing all over the desk and the model shudders all over the place. It's a real shame, but then Paul does write in the read me that he did not have time to check it all, and can I understand that. It's nothing that can't be fixed with a little FDE tweaking. Very, very weird that we don't all get it...is it perhaps and FSX/FS9 thing? Are there any FS9 users who are not having this problem?

OTher'n that, everything looks great and Paul has done a stirling job. I am particularly impressed with his PR.9 series which I am now leaving well alone repaint-wise. He's done all the best variations very well, so there's no need for me to tread over well-covered ground. The SC.9 however is on my to-do list! Love that thing.

Leif, yeah I noticed the Avon alias, I've been doing the same thing on all the old Bill Holker models for yonks, as why not? It's the closest we'll get and sounds flipping great. Nice front page and article as well, thanks for handling all the uploads too - top work mate.

Nigel, it always looks a bit better on the FS Recorder front to fly two different aircraft , nice shots though all the same.

Sorry Trev old habits die hard, as a kid I never went for the dolly mixtures!!

Flutter solved by turning off force feedback! Didn't need it for my new yoke anyway......

I was wondering whether force feedback was the problem. Other aircraft in the past have suffered from a similar effect - I recall one of Mike Stone's planes showing this effect and much discussion on his forum at the time.

I assumed that everyone knew about this - sorry

On another note, bit of a shame on Paul's part and I wish we'd a chance to remedy this before hand, however I just noticed the prototype blue paint is serialled as 'WN799' rather that VN799...oh well. A small mistake for such a mammoth amount of high quality work.

After the amount of work thats gone into it Steve its a small price to pay

Indeed, Leif, indeed, and I am most grateful for it! I'm just being a nit-picker which is not cool considering the array of models we now have.

ANyway, back to the world of repainting: I've finally sat down and finished WF992 for the PR.3 fuel model, which is incidentally of the models which originally led me to bug Paul in the first place. I'd talked to Malcolm Lambert at the MAM and Les Bywaters about their thoughts on a dedicated PR.3 and they were very helpful on proving some insight and details about it, also were kind enough to let me in her and get all kinds of nice photos - all of which were very useful in doing this paint. True, I did do 922 for the old Bill Holker model , but this one is muuuuch nicer
