Fantastic shots Brian,

I'm still working on soak-testing it in Vista64 Ultimate. Thanks for being patient guys. This baby is so worth waiting for we just want to make sure it goes out as good as it can!! and that we've covered every possible eventuality. As soon as the server is solid she'll be released, Monday is looking extremely promising!!

Regards

Jim

Hi Brian

Are you saying that the pilots still don't show up in Multiplayer ?.

what a pain.

FSX shows flaps gear speedbrakes canopy smoke but will not show a pilot unless it's not animated!

thats a really annoying bug in my view.

I might have to change that before release

Regards
Rick

Rick,

Not sure about Multiplayer as this was using the Formation AI tool. If it doesn't thats very odd, does the problem appear for other animated parts?

Hi Brian

might not be the same for the Ai tool thing.

I stopped the pilot being load based in the front seat as the Hawk does not fly with the front seat empty
(only the Boscomb ASTRA hawk ever did that)

so MP should be a visible front seat pilot.

Certainly was in my last MP flight with Ben.

Regards
Rick

if you wish to test in FSINN eviroment, let me know as we have that server running. FSINN allows full animations on MP inc smoke

Seeing as he's using FSX for those shots, he should just be able to see all smoke and animations in FSX multiplayer.

I use FS Host Client for any multiplayer in FSX, as opposed to Gamespy. Although with Acceleration, I heard there were meant to be problems with Gamespy, so I'd probably have to use FSH anyway!

Oh, and the Hawk is looking mighty fine! A very realistic finish to it. Still have to wait a good 2 weeks for payment though, so I'll be cutting it fine if I purchase it sooner rather than later. Although saying that, I've got £50 cashback to claim off Canon, so that should cover it nicely!

yip, i am aware FSX MP allows it, but as you say, gmespy has issues. FSHOST works, but does nto show any animations or smoke etc. FSINN is the middle ground, and works fine with FSX and shows all the whistles and bangs
