The reason I thought Harrow & Wealdstone was that the Tube lines ran pararell to the main line and I know it was Radeltt - (Mainly because of the HANDLEY PAGE written in large white letters on one Hangar. I want to say the Engine works was Neasden - I remember that at the time there were alot of steam locomotives there being scrapped we snuck in a couple of times and wandered around the sidings looking at them before getting chased off - it would have been 1963 I guess - I do remember being taken by a worker there to see the cab of a Deltic that was in the shops and being impressed by the size of it then.
If you went north from H&W you could go to either Watford - I think to get to Radeltt (or atleast go past it) we used to change and go to Stanmore but cant remember what line that was (it wasnt the Bakerloo becuase it was a larger railcar set) - The bakerloo doesnt go to Watford anymore does? :)
