Ben Watson wrote:oops! Yep, definately sounds like a very early FSDS. Strange one though, as the really early Rick stuff works ok (in that it displays the model) :dunno:

David Hanvey and Paul Barry did a whole series of freeware Sea Furies, beginning with the FB11. Their next release the Sea Fury Trainer does show up in FSX, but not fully with the Acceleration Update. Hope that helps... :)

There is a Source file for an almost complete Sea Fury over at Simviation. Just needs some texture work... ;-)

Good to see I've made you feel better now Dave. Especially after all the pleasure your Hunters have given me... :welldone:

In particular Hunterpack6 with an F4 XE682 repaint by Dave Charlton - now that made me cry for different reasons...

May as well release V1.4 a bit earlier than expected: :o

As soon as the download dust dies down...

V1.4 through to V2.0 will comprise of:

1/ Near Photographic quality cockpit panel.

2/ Set up for Carrier Operation via RCBco-20, both catapult launch and trapped landing.

3/ A special version of the Arromanches 'UK built' Colossus Class Aircraft Carrier moored in Asia kindly donated by its builder, Joel Maillot.

4/ Re-adjusted Wing Contrails - now activate above 4g, instead of 2.5g

5/ Toe brakes and flaps drag effect re-modelled to give slightly longer stopping distance.

6/ A small texture update which turns Arromanches into HMS Ocean or HMS Glory.

7/ Lights panel added.

8/ And last and most important: a series of repaints by one of the most talented re-painters in

the virtual world. I'll keep the details secret for now. :-#
