The 1975 download was pointing at the old file, so maybe that's why Ian didn't spot the difference! :doho:

I've updated the website now & the correct file is now linked to the 1975 download.

Okey Dokey. That would explain why I never found the airport hotel and never got my promised pint of Robinsons. I spent ages searching for it by helicopter and car but then gave up!

I never stayed at the airport hotel in the 70s - we were always in the Grand in the city centre - so I didn't know where to look, apart from the clue that it should have been near Rwy 24.

Well, I've just downloaded the latest file and I STILL can't see it. Where should I be looking? I deleted the whole of the old folder so all the files are as of today. This is what I can see at 24. A lot of thirsty pilots

Could well be that your browser is still showing you the old page? Try 'refresh' a few times when you're on that download page.
The file you download should be called 'DM_EGCC_1975_20090226.zip'.
The brower & sometimes even your ISP can serve you up an old page instead of the latest one.
I can't see those pictures you've posted.
The internet is brill isn't it?

If you're getting that file name, there is always the chance I've made another mistake. :brick:

No no! As you were  Guilty as charged, your honour :$

What happened wus ...

I downloaded the new file into my downloads folder and lo and behold there was the old file next to it wot I'd downloaded last time ... and guess which one I installed - again!

Done a proper job this time and what a lovely little hostelry that is. A very welcome addition to EGCC. Sorry to have given you more grief, David, but we got there in the end

Damn.. spotted again!

On a slightly more serious note.. I had a whizz round the boozer and the entire airfield in a Wessex yesterday and couldn't quite tell if I had textures on the back (non airside) of the main terminal building.. at least on the roof. Anyone else noticed a lot of grey or is it just me??
