Dunno Ant to be honest though the original VFRPhoto scenery (for FS2002/2004) was based on aerial photographs produced for the Millennium map and there was no Scotland (or N.Ireland) on that either.. just England and Wales :)

I believe there was (is?) going to be a VFR Scotland. There's even an area for it on their forum, but whether it will actually appear is anyones guess :dunno:

It was basic economics. They had to buy the map data and aerial shots and when you consider there are 57million (or something like that) people in England and Wales, 5 million in Scotland and only 1.5 in NI, they didn't think the extra costs would pay for themselves in the original FS9 release. They always said if there was enough demand they would look at doing Scotland, so i guess this is whats happening with the Genx stuff. ;-)

Will be quality for some nice low flying multi prop engine action around the country, especially in the western country.

On another note, I'm still trying to find some nice Acension and Falklands scenery and possibly Akrotiri too.

I'm installing Vol 1 right now. (Four DVDs :o )I noticed installations options for 1.2m photo scenery and night lighting scenery, not sure if I should tick those extra boxes or not? I'll do some flying without and some with and see what happens. The only implications would be FPS and obviously with these the quality will be better.

I doubt if you'd notice much FPS difference. Loading times may increase a bit though
