Used to be called Aquae Sulis by the Romans after the Celtic goddess Sulis - you remember!

Yes, it's very good, Paul.basys wrote:The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. Anyone read it ?
The problem is, if it is that good, you might not be able to put it down and end up walking under the aforementioned bus. Not sure I can take the risk!speedbird591 wrote:Yes, it's very good, Paul.basys wrote:The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. Anyone read it ?
I'd just like to bring the thread back to the original point, though. I posted it to urge novel lovers to read 'The Other Hand' by Chris Cleave. I've read many of the books that have been mentioned and they are all good. But this is exceptional. Read it now - before you get run over by a bus! The others you can read later!

Hmmm. Good point. You could always sit on a railway line on a Sunday and read it. Should be safe enough thereAndyG wrote:The problem is, if it is that good, you might not be able to put it down and end up walking under the aforementioned bus. Not sure I can take the risk!
