Ahh, I was wondering if the relatively short runway might have had something to do with the "ugly" landing. Thanks for your input Chris.

I just couldn't imagine Airbus' pilots making a landing like that at Oshkosh of all places.

PIO ??...check out this 757 pilot landing in heavy crosswinds and evasive maneuvering
to avoid obstructions near the threshold ......notice the hang four and nosewheel center landing :tab:

he's may well be qualified to talk about

No problem Joe. There was probably a bit of crosswind and he'd been told to turnoff at the threshold of the runway he was landing on. Text book stuff in my view ;-)

Certainly better than my landings.....but in my defence I will say it's not my fault that MS placed every runway in the World either ten feet higher or ten feet lower than I think they should be
