Crikey, that was quick! My only 'complaint' would be that the PR9 is not as common as a B2 or T4! 8) ...or as old!!

I wouldn't know where to start, let alone do them so quickly!

Trev... I managed to find some static Buccaneers, a Britannia, a Vulcan and some Gnats when I installed scenery for Honnington, Kemble and Waddington (all FS9) then position them with EZ Scenery.

Kind regards

Cheers, John! I am interested in the Gnat and Brit (can you remember where they came from, maybe just basic flyers?), the others are a bit later and or too big. As well as the (when they are ready) Canberras, I have found F8 Meteors and some 'visiting' static stuff. I have just now got to learn the object placing programme!

But how about classic vehicles also...??

This is a very interesting thread... but how about classic (50s-70s) British vehicles (static) for retro scenery design?? The default FSX cars and vans are all modern... but imagine having classic ones parked on your airfield next to dispersal and outside the control tower! It would be amazing to have a freeware FSX library of such objects, to go along with Ted's libraries of airfield buildings.

Does anyone else agree??

cheers

Andy

Totally agree Andy, a nice SWB Landrover, Dennis fire engine and some old AEC refuelling trucks would make a real difference. I have just seen the Colerne scenery at 'Shep's shed http://www.shepsshed.com/fsxbits.htm seems to have some static Hastings  , so I will DL it and see if I can use them. I will ask permission before incorporating them them (if I can), of course. They would really fit in well at Thorney Island.
