I would imagine so, Toby, as they were produced until '69 - but I couldn't say for sure. I joined BOAC in '72, so they would probably have been on their way out then anyway.

Toby - I was doing a circuit at LHR this morning in the 757 (now considered an honorary classic!) and by coincidence I was allocated stand 211 between the two piers we've been discussing. It was a bit of a tight squeeze but we got in OK. I've got the AES add-on and I thought you might like to see the effect with all the extra AI support vehicles in attendance. It's not compatible with all airports but UK2000 LHR is one of them. It makes the jetways work as well, but you have to set up each a/c type individually so it knows where to position the steps and trucks.
Don't worry - you won't be expected to re-create this in your scenery

I'm still staggered by the detail in that scenery and how every facet of the terminal seems to have been photographed. It takes me ages just to create one texture, it must be a full time job for Gary
You wont want to uninstall that to replace it with mine I shouldnt'd think

But for other cheapskates like me who don't generally buy payware, it will be a suitable improvement (and a more appropriate time frame) for our classic jets.
I think the 757 should be able to use that gate. The number of gates on both piers seems to have been reduced over the years and even in the 70s there are photos showing aircraft as large as 707s using T2's piers. I think the occasional widebody did use them too in later years. This could be one reasonwhy the end gates were angled in the mid 70s.
