funny thing about metioning oil Ian , It's what keeps the transformer windings cool.
it's all fine and safe , unless the oil somehow gets outside the pot
watch at about half way for the spray when it splits open from the arching

result of improperly maintained gear. to much resistance (hi Brian) to ground.

A transformer mounted between two poles blew up not far from where I live, hell of a bang and loads of smoke.
