My first EVER flight was on a Brtiannia pig to rimini in about 1978 - Sir Francis Drake, from then on must have flown on that machine about 5 other times to Malaga, Reus, and Venice, great days. Well actually that was the first flight i can remember when I was about 15 months old in 1973 flew on a 1-11 to Barcelona if ONLY I could remember that !!!!

Many many years ago when I was in the Air Training Corps,I was at a summer camp at RAF Ballykelly in Northern Ireland and managed to scrounge a ride in a Varsity for an hour or so.I remember the crew referring to the Varsity as the 'flying pig' and maybe there is some superficial resemblance.I wish I had some photos from that flight.

EricT Sorry,a bit off thread

If you were going to shoot a pig.....this is the penultimate 737 "Classic"
I have some screenies of the Tinmouse with G-AVRL on the side but NOT in BYs colours
Leif
Fairly sure that this was the aircraft/livery that used to do the RAF Gutersloh - Luton 'troop flights' back in the 7o's ?
