Sorry Garry

See it this way: otherwise this thread could have gone one forever, with quite a few a.net links ...

Now you have them all collected .... saves bandwith too!

Good idea mate :)

Get all the horrors over in one fell swoop.

I'll try and get an appointment with my therapist first thing Monday

On the plus side..I've broken my main reading glasses and can't get a replacement for a few weeks so the full horror is shielded a little from me :)

Also, one thing to note - an airline that chooses to paint silver or grey on a Boeing or McDonnell Douglas product instead of having "bare metal" is lazy (as American proves with their Retrojet liveries). Airbus on the other hand, unfortunately has to be painted because the alloy they use is not suitable for remaining "bare" (which is why American, PanAm, and Eastern painted their A300s while the rest of their planes wore polished liveries).

Hi Chris

That is why VC 10 and One-Elevens were grey when the standard was bare metal. Heralds also were coated

The AA order for One-Eleven had to be specially prepared from an early stage.

Dave I have double astigmatism and a very complex prescription so no cheapies here

I have to go for more test to see if I need prisms built in, hence the delay :((
