No mate.. he's not a scouser thank goodness. That would have been a final insult! :lol: One thing I remember Dad saying many years ago when I was a kid was that in all the world, there were 2 breeds he could never trust.. a scouser and a french canadian. I don't know what led him to this belief but he must have been stung at some point by both and it stayed with him :worried: :lol:

When we were getting preparations for my Dads' funeral we were sorting the readings out. I suggested 'High Flight' as Dad was a pilot during WW2. My mother said you know that was his favourite poem. I didn't. I really did not know he was into poetry.

I didn't know that my dad could have been an opera tenor but he passed it up to stay in the RN.

After my Dad died we found some drawings and paintings he did in the RAF and before he met Mum

I guess, thinking back he never had time after that...they were very good and I never knew he could :dunno:
