Yes.. I saw ours on the box tonight and I had no idea who he was. He looked familiar and so it was.. the labour candidate who bothered to put a leaflet through the door (or one of his minions anyway)

My first thought was 29 out of a possible thousand had voted (call that 30 with the missus).. we had two candidates to choose from out of the list of 5 or 6 (a lucky dip if you will) and STILL.. neither of the 2 I voted for got in. No wonder I don't win the lottery

What I thought was very telling was the LibDems got absolutely stuffed. In Coventry they polled less than the amount of Spoilt votes. The new Staffordshire PCC a Conservative said he was disappointed in the low turnout he thought people did not understand what it was about. I think they did and that's why they didn't vote. By the way he seemed to be the only Conservative in the Midlands, Brum got Labour and I think the rest were independents. Unless Dave you are not Brum.
