PCPro came up with some different answers. But this was testing for AV+malware protection which can be different from just AV.

Nothing to read at the PCPro website at the moment but from the magazine Avast was the best free AV - better than some of the paid software. Not sure how one interprets any "commercial" bias of free software. :dunno:

My concern was the poor showing for McAfee (the software not the man on the run) since that is provided by BT as its security software. So downloaded Avast and I'll be giving it a test.

It's every bit as impressive as it looks, Peter. I've sent you a PM with more info.

Thanks for all the info Ian...I took delivery of mine this morning, having ordered it from Amazon yesterday. I am already delighted with it as I type this message. It is certainly a very beautiful and functional addition to the iPad and you could now easily write a book on it. I certainly wish I had it to do my Keynote presentation :welldone:

Nice one, Peter

I use mine all the time and it really transforms the iPad. The tablet on it's own feels a bit basic without it now! After telling everybody that the iPad is the best gadget I've ever had, I've run out of superlatives to describe one with a keyboard cover

Ian :)

Well, Dave G, I'm glad you asked. :)

It's the front light I'm speaking of, although my taillight it rather brilliant as well. I've not taken pictures of it since I can oggle it in my hands to my hearts content.

I'll show a pic later of the bracket that I made to affix it to the handlebar if you'd like though.

Here is an ad showing the light in the package.

http://www.amazon.com/Techlite-250-Lume ... B00A9PK4WK

It''s very bright ... 250 lumen, and I'd say in the 4300 kelvin range.. a very nice white light, very close to daylight with out going into the blue light.

I like - I keep. B-)

Thanks for asking,

Joe
