I have no love lost for Stephen or Tom (reasons not to be named here), but I read Kosta's "response" to AVSIM, and I can quickly find several areas where he is showing that he's either ignorant, oblivious, or just flat-out lying, especially the part about his "right" to take "his" guide with him wherever he wants.

Both in the US and Europe, unless your employer (which includes anyone you are working for on a volunteer basis) grants you specific permission, any work you do and publish for them is THEIRS, not yours. Thus, Tom was quite right to fire Kosta for removing "his" tweak guide to "his" own location despite being told specifically he did not have permission to do so. So, he was in material breach of copyright, and is lucky that Tom didn't go after him for the guide and its contents (as he's done in the past).

In the end, the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle and revolves 100% around the simple fact that Kosta and the rest of the AVSIM staff didn't get along well. As it's AVSIM's website and forum, it's their right to send him on his way, however I did get to see the "post" that got Kosta banned from the forum and Kosta was 100% wrong in what he said and would've gotten him banned from any respectable forum on the internet.
