Hi Nigel, I think that one of the best things about FS is the variety of challenges that it gives you. I can agree with both yours and Tonks' views on the differnces in technology.I ,like many others, thoroughly enjoy using the older technologies of the superb aircraft from CBFSIM , but also using that which is present on another of my favourites namely the LevelD 767-300 which despite it's age in FS terms is one of the most realistic procedural virtual aircraft produced. The user manual for the FMC alone is 175 pages but taking it step by step with a good tutorial,it soon starts to fall into place.Dare I say that after some practice it almost becomes routine( I'll probably get a rocket from Tonks here!)
However the whole point of FS as far as I am concerned is that it's both educational and great fun but as Mr T says- It's not real. :) EricT

Lots of Nigel's round here, reminiscent of BA's crew room!!

I enjoy a mixture of both modern and old. Enjoy PMDG 737NG (Sorry Ben 8) and 747-400, Capt Sim 757 etc. But if you cut my leg off, like a stick of rock, it will say "British Aircraft Corporation" through it
