Looks great Jason. :) When I read the subject line I first thought of the Class 37 locomotive. Guess it's time to step away from the train sims.

I'm chuffed there's good interest in my work...thanks all

Here's some more photos of her looking clean...I might just leave her outside to take some of the weather on board, if you know what I mean. ;)

There's still a awful lot to do believe it or not, so back to the paint shop we go. :cpu:

Watch that groundcrew mate.. they don't cast shadows :-O

There's something about the Shack that makes it's crew look like kids.. eg, little people. The payware Shackleton Project model was the same. I guess it's the fact we can see in much easier than any other type *-)

I don't think a bit of weathering will hurt the old girl. You can always keep the 'clean' versions for parade days ;)

I probably saw this aircraft when she came to 49MU at Colerne, although I have no specific memory of it. I was working on the Hastings 1st line at the time, but there were a lot of other types coming to the MU, and we had a clear view of the runway.

I particularly remember the Black Hunters of 111Sqdn who were regular visitors, and a Lancaster spent a long time in their hangars.

The Shackleton is a favourite of the VFR Flyers, and the new texture will be a welcome addition. Thank you Jason.

D.

ps. I think the aircrew could do with a few square meals Dave.

I think it's Rob's model.. at least I hope it's for Rob's model. There are a few already out there for the Shack Project MR3.

Y'know.. I thought that model looked too familiar (the 'little' people and tail cone) :(

No problem. Get FSX, download Robs model and you're ready to start again
