Ah.. the wave-off's display either side of the deck from the light projectors.. 2 off each projector

They don't show for long though.. a couple of seconds.. little more. I guess you'd not need longer in a jet
EDIT: I've put the 206 out of cfg to show the waveoff's

This is on the release mdl again so at least they appear to have come back!

I'll sub in Ark later and see if i get any lights. I'm sure its a sim / driver config issue though. I'll see what happens tonight.

Not sure if the Ark has any FLOLS lights anyway

I wasn't seeing any, so I opened the Ark in MCX & there's none attached to the model.

Skip has noticed from my screenie that the Whirlwind isn't showing any lights either. I've looked at the model in MCX and the 3 fx files used are in my effects folder. He's now wondering if this isn't nvidia related as we all have nvidia cards. What we need is someone with an ATI to have a look

Ark uses the default Acceleration FLOLS which has attachpoints at the start, end and left hand side of the landing area, which makes it a bugger to get in the right place! Oddly the required effect doesn't seem to be in P3D2 as it's missing from all the ships that use it including the default Nimitz class.

I'll try it in FSX, and if alls good, I'll copy the effects over

Stupid question time, but do the effects rely on a BMP file? I seem to recall having a blue light on DG's Rapide and it was because one of the standard textures that's used by landing and other lights had been replaced by one of my addons.

They can, in fact I think most do if only to define the shape of the effect. The effects I've added all use the fx_2.bmp, which comes with FSX, mainly because it's essentially a modification of an existing effect and I'm lazy.
