Take off sequence requires a wet finger pointed upwards to check wind direction, then set compass allowing for wet finger response, check stopwatch, make sure you have correct map suitably folded to show route, then open up engine & brakes off...WhEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

RAF Phantoms had an INS system that was, to quote an F-4 Navigator, "accurate enough to determine which hemisphere we were in" :lol:
