Thanks, Chris, I note that the changes in affinity are hidden away in some of those generic "performance improvements" ...

Nope wasn't drivers as I was on the right ones, terrain shadows is bu**ered for me :rant:

There do seem to be an awful lot of issues with this, the majority of them seem related to a need to upgrade FSUIPC. Aside from that there are still a sizeable amount of flaws reported which for me, and I had just cleared out a while HD to accommodate P3D, is stopping me from committing to it. Plus the Mrs. wants a new kitchen. :help:

Think I'll stick with what I've got for now. I downloaded the new set-up last night, but I won't install it until I don't care if it messes things up - so until I'm ready for a reinstall.

Yes, I've noticed that every v2 release seems to be blighted with rather too many problems - certainly more than most s/w developers leave to be found in their released products. Of course, the other side is that the product here does seem to be improving almost by leaps and bounds provided it suits your system. I get the impression that this part of LM just can't get the hang of what Quality Assurance is all about,
