Something I do if I hold a door open and the person passes through without any acknowledgement - as they walk by I say, quite loudly, 'You're welcome ! ' They then look at me in puzzlement and I say, just a little bit louder, 'Sorry...I thought you said Thank You !! '. They will stare at me in mute incomprehension, while I walk off feeling smug. It doesn't take much to keep me happy.

Oh dear, this is all my fault. I am sorry that what was supposed to be a light hearted comment on Trump has been the cause of such anguish
