You mean your names not 'Bruce' then? Well that's going to cause a bit a confusion, how bout we call you 'Bruce' then, just to keep it clear!

"Aussie Rules footy" ??? The correct term is 'cross-country basketball', if you don't mind....

Well I suppose if ever I decided to stop flying then I can always relive the days I spent on the roads hauling 38 tonners from Lincoln all over the country through this!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LSVuvva-Vw#t=12
But then again I can still remember the boredom and monotony of motorway driving so may well give this a wide berth!!
Now I am not knocking Eddie Stobbard but sometimes when I have watched that programme and the commentator goes on about their driving day they have never had it so good!!! When I started in the 70's I was driving trucks with crash gearboxes, bench like seats, sometimes no heater in winter, had to handball 20tons of 100cwt bags on and off the trailer then rope and sheet it, try doing that when the sheets and ropes are frozen

No comfort of sleeper cabs and some of the transport stops were terrible, one I stopped at the heating was off all night and only 2 blankets covering the bed then had to wash in cold water in the morning :!!

But they were great days, trucking was then a community spirited one, before I had to stop driving HGV's in 1990 due to medical reasons driving was not what it used to be.
I remember one night when night trunking on the Grimsby Fish Contract to Stoke-on-Trent then Wrexham I was returning back to the BRS depot in Lincoln when I came across 4 females broken down in a layby. I stopped and quite illegally attached a rope to the rear of my 40ft trailer and attached it to their car and towed them to Lincoln. Apart from being illegal in doing that I could not leave them at 4am alone in the layby out in the middle of nowhere. Something which I doubt would happen nowadays.
Regards
Nigel.

Females broken down!?
Reminds me of the statistics teacher, who told us to be careful in our labelling of data;
avoid using terms such as "Population, broken down by sex and age"
You were a good lad, Nigel,

pity I missed you on the roads, I was already in Australia by then.

Which Anson, Nev ? The FS Add-Ons package or the Aircraft Factory one ?
Tried and now being tested by Joe but works on both versions. The original Aircraft Factory one has some of my sound files on it, but overall it is not great.

Well anything that adds to, and enhances the FS Add-Ons one will be very welcome. Their Anson was one of the best value payware packages I ever bought.
