Super pics and plenty of them, I hope the cameras hold plenty of film
The telemetry and mathematics(notice I use the full word and not maths so as not to upset the colonials!) involved in a mission like this must be highly complex and advanced.Very impressive

Above is the one that I saw. Can't find any confirmation that it is genuine, though one of the others in the set appears to have a comment by a lady from the NASA team. Still, I can type anything I like and say "NASA said this". I can't find anything like them on the official photo releases, so maybe it's all fiction.
I think that photo is from one of the previous rovers, Mike. It was posted on the 20th Feb, less than 48 hours after Perseverance touched down.

ABC Catalyst (science programme on TV tonight) explained it.
The atmosphere is 90% thinner than on Earth.
To compensate, they used wider rotor blades, spinning 5 times faster than they would need here.

These pics appear to be from the Curiosity mission. That was the one where the rover's wheels had the letters J P L cut into them in morse code.

Millions spent on getting Perseverance to Mars and the first time it moves the office junior with the game controller has it doing wheelies in the top picture
Meanwhile, NASA have coordinated with the Navajo nation to use the Navajo language to name features on Mars.
