Ben , that last shot is a very nice view of Perry Oaks sludge [ sewerage works ] works , where they produced 'Cinagro .... [ Organic backwards ] fertiliser ..
Now of course it's Terminal 5 .
And don't those T-birds look clean . Back then even tech log entries asking for a clean didn't do any good . The Speys then produced lots of soot especially in reverse .

Hello again Ben. It's been a while since I started this thread and I was wondering how you'd been getting on with FS9? For the last few days I've been getting my head around AIFP2 again and have created a number of traffic files - some work some don't. I'm trying to create something from around 1967 to 1970 concentrating on EGLL and EGCC and currently have CalClassic scenery and files from 1962. Is it possible to 'adapt' a CalClassic BGL to something with VC10s instead of so many Britannias in BOAC colours? No matter how I try I cannot get VC10s to appear at EGLL except for one which isn't parked in the right place anyway. Admittedly I've been using DM's aircraft and not the AI versions.

Hi Paul, do you want to send me over your traffic file and I'll take a look? I haven't done any work on them in 6 months at least, but can check if there is anything glaringly obvious.

Hello again Ben. Thanks for the reply. For a number of reasons I've decided to reload FS9 and to start from scratch but what I noticed was that my VC10's were showing up everywhere other than EGLL! I'm going to write a few test files to see if they show up at what is now the default EGLL before I reinstall my 1962 EGLL. If that makes sense? Where do I send the files to for you to take a look at?

I've set up 8 VC10s to leave EGLL one after the other around 13:00 for EGCC and it's worked. So I'm guessing it's Cal Classic EGLL 1962 that's the problem?

Update. I've now reloaded aforementioned EGLL 1962 and the VC10s are nowhere to be seen.

Could it be that the afcad stands in the Cal Classic scenery are too small to accommodate the VC10? I use a very heavily modified version of the scenery and all my stands are a minimum of 101 ft, with some larger ones as well.

Hi Fraser, that might well be the case. Unfortunately I can't fly my FS9 atm as the the aircraft won't accelerate on the runway; as though the runway was covered in glue. The engines go to full power, but the most the aircraft will get to is about 50kts. Can't for the life of me figure it out.

Hi Ben, that sounds bizarre. One reason I still use a 20 year old PC as long as it clings to life :-O I tried it on a Win 10 laptop I have once, Vanguard, Heathrow-Jersey, and everything was tip top, but still worry about upgrading.

Cheers
