well it's made, i even made the autogen file - however compiling it into a bgl has been hell! i have all the co-ordinates written down but no program likes it :(

Hi Hinch

Ah so you have mastered the art of satellite photo scenery.

How would you like to make some French ports for My Channel Traffic project. (or teach me how to do it myself)

this sort of scenery is more straightforward if it's made with that method.

sadly i have not managed to get it to work.

Regards
Rick

Thanks Pete, but it says it requires "Austrian Professional" which I guess must be a payware package.

hi rick,

i would be very happy to work with you, but i need more practice at compiling bgl's. i am however quite used to making the map itself now having made such a large project. i used google earth ;) by channel traffic are you reffering to boats across the english channel? if so that is really cool! what ports are you thinking of? i just took a look at dover and calais - both have imagery from around 2000ft ;)

i don't own the package and it works a treat

the paint is uploaded on avsim now, filename: repaint_oefah.zip or search for 'matt hinchliffe'
