Ian, although I haven't got a pic from exactly the same position (close but not exact) I have cut and superimposed the two noses and there does appear to be a small difference. It does also appear that this difference is greatly exaggerated by the two paint schemes.

Point taken.
is the nose different on the 125 ?.
& does the Dominie not have the bubble roof like the 125 & Viscount have ?.
I can't put my finger on whats missing, looks great anyway
& great photo there
Regards
Rick
Rick, the Dominie T.1 nose is larger than the standard series 1/3/400 nose and the Dominie T.2 nose is bigger still.

T2 ??? We're still on the T1.
Even with the Radar upgrade - hence the larger nose - it remained a T1.
"In 1996 the aircraft underwent a major upgrade programme, with the installation of a modern avionics suite and a new systems installation and cabin layout, completed under contract by Racal and Marshall Aerospace. The design features included installation of a Super Searcher Ground-mapping Radar, which was fully integrated with the aircraft’s associated radio equipment, avionics systems, multicolour displays and navigation mission-computer."

Excellent, I've wanted a Dominie for ages. Working at Cranwell I see them flying past my office window every day.
Also, I can now have a go a recreating one of my favourite airliners.net photos:

Just to add my tuppence worth, like Rick I thought the nose was too big from what I remembered the Dominie to be but now after seeing those photos.........Still say it looked better with the shorter nose during the sixties when used at RAF Stradishall.

Also much prefered the original paint job of red and white but that is my own personal preference.
have to say that am looking forward to this release as flew in one twice during the sixties on navigational sorties from Stradishall.
Regards Nigel.

Hmm, have seen several references to the more recently upgraded model as the T.2. I have a feeling that "Hawker, the story of the 125", published around teh time of the mods uses that designation too, but possible it was proposed but decided not to be used after all
Nigel - the first scheme was bare metal with orange flashes...I only have B&W pics of that. I prefer the Red, White and Grey too myself, although my favourite military one (almost military anyway) is XW930, the AE trials a/c... in raspberry ripple! Its a series 1 (a very early one at that) that was modified several times later on....
