That shot would not get on Airliners.net today! Its FAR too bright a blue.
I can say that, because it was a friend of mine who uploaded it. He is now a screener himself, and would certainly reject it!
But yes, it is basically that colour scheme. I've uploaded it to avsim and Flightsim.com , just a few minutes ago, so it should appear by Monday at the latest.
So now I can start on the Air Ontario one - which is, after all, what this topic was all about in the first place!

Thanks Crookston...any chance of a screenshot?

Are you uploading to Classic British Files?

The Blue in the Air UK F-28 pic is very close to reality not too blue at all.

That is the standard Air UK blue plane blue used in this form on the later jets

JAB

I have two versions of the One-Eleven painted in this livery.

Air Uk F28

The air Uk F28 is now downloadable from both Avsim And Flightsim.
I tried uploading my Carvairs to Classic British Aviation Files, but they never appeared. I dont suppose an F28 would, since its Dutch!
There are a few pictures of the real plane at Airliners net. They all show a fairly good representation of the blue except the one posted previously. I also include one of my own in the zip file. Certainly if its sunny it may get a bit brighter, but not as bright as the David Unsworth photo.

Now I realise what you meant by 'the standard Air Uk blue' - I didnt connect with that at first. Certainly the magnificent blue Air Uk scheme was similar to the colour of the 1-11 in the screenprints, but the F28 was not that colour of blue - it was darker.

They take British paints for none British types at Classic British Files

I have know idea why the Carvair paints never showed. If they had appeared they would have appeared. They may have misloaded for some reason. :dunno:

There are British paints for Boeing 707 and Dakota over there for example.
