Hi Chaps,

Via Dave Farrow who knows Ian's best mates brother.. a quick update on Ian's condition. It is, as we feared, not good news I'm afraid :( The poor chap is fading though mercifully, is in no pain. I gather he has spoken of us here and is aware of our kind thoughts and best wishes ;)

Dave has very kindly arranged direct contact with Ian's best mate so between us, we'll do our best to keep you all up to speed.

Thanks for this update Dave. The news is indeed sad but it's some consolation to know that his pain is under control.
I know he is sorely missed around here as I'm sure will everyone else will agree. :( EricT

Sad news indeed, but thanks for the update Dave.

Glad at least that Ian is in no pain.

Cheers

Sorry to see you going mate, we'll catch up sometime.. .. :worried: ...

( that's in keeping with his wishes - to keep it lite.)

But try as I may, knowing you must go far to soon, I'm greatly saddened over all this.

We're all here by your side Ian.
