Re: GPS in a second monitor
The point is FSNAV is no longer available, so theres no point in teasing the poor man with something he can't have!

Ben.

Neither have I. With the 500 you can make any leg you want active as you have outlined, but you can't do that with the 295. Only good point about the 295 is the lack of the brain-dead flashing MSG button.petermcleland wrote:Ian,
I use FSNav on my second monitor but I do use the GPS on my aircraft panels...I use a payware version of the GNS530...This is just a dressed up version of the Default 500...My point is that I find the 500 superior to that 295 in that you can "Skip Waypoints"...I have never managed to do that with the 295.........

Re: GPS in a second monitor
JFK? Why on earth would anybody want to spend seven and a half hours pretending to fly to New York?
I'm afraid if that's what FSNav is capable of then it should be ashamed of itself! The only reason for going to New York is the reason that I've been there 139 times. Because somebody paid me to!
Now a FSNav Masterclass with Professor Dave at The Bull sounds a lot more up my street! Would there be a certificate at the end?
I said it before and this time I mean it! I get no respect here so I'm off to

Just one question, though, before I go ...
Any idea how to get the satnav on a second monitor ... ?
