Oh, and one more thing: there was a Shackleton MR3 parked in the NW corner of the airfield for a number of years in the early 70's. Although consigned to fire practice eventually, as the airfield itself was to close, for a few years it was kept up, with its engines being run-up from time to time.

Kind regards

PS There's an APi file listed in the readme, that you'll need to get from 'allnodes'

Cheers John.

API's don't work in FSX (the were being phased out in FS9 too) But I shouldn't need it for what I'm after. If all works to plan I'll post some screenies :worried:

Ok oh wise men of the classic simming world...I have a question.

I've been using EZ scenery to put a few more bits and bobs around 'Pomey' and whilst I can see all sorts of useful items of scenery in the menu... it more often than not says I'm trying to put the item in the wrong area (or out of area?). Anyone any ideas? It's frustrating to say the least!

Thanks chaps

John

No idea John. Unfortuantely I've never used Ezscenery, even in my FS9 days. Sorry mate. :worried:

Good news and bad news....

God bles MAX and all who sail in her... as most of this scenery is done in GMAX or MAX, it works in FSX.... OK, so some of flattens don't work well with Genx and the light house becaons don't work, but for the most part its fine. I'll sort it out and let folk know what will work (on my system)

As an aside, the VFRAddons website seems to be buggered in that none of the links work anymore. Has the group closed shop?

Err.. well I have EZ Scenery and used it to populate PeteP's Pompey airfield. Not come across that error before. :dunno:

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that you're trying to add things outside the bgl you have selected but on reflection.. you shouldn't be able to see outside of the area you have selected anyway  Hmm  That's one for pondering in the daylight hours.. not now when there are few grey cells still active :worried: Does the help file give any clue (though as it's from Abacus.. I guess the answer is NO!)
