See Joe, occasionally I can add something to a thread...
Back to the serious side - yes, it is quite interesting. It is quite timely as well since I'm about to start my instrument training in earnest, this subject is something not covered in my Instrument Rating books, the FAA's Instrument Flying Handbook, or the FAA Weather book. As such, had this happened to me, I would have never known what was going on. It makes you wish that the FAA would do more to make these kinds of videos and subjects known to all pilots so they'd get the training and information they need. Thankfully AOPA does a good job of helping in that area, which is why I'm continually thankful to have spent the $35/year to be a member and get AOPA Pilot.
